UP Chief Minister during a meeting with senior officials pushes for Exam Reforms in Recruitment Process: Directs Boards for Transparency and Timely Action
In a key meeting focused on exam reforms, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath addressed the heads of recruitment boards and key departments, including Medical Health, Family Welfare, and Medical Education. He laid out a comprehensive plan to ensure a smooth and transparent recruitment process, particularly under the state’s "Mission Rozgar Uttar Pradesh."
The CM emphasized the creation of a question bank to accelerate the recruitment process. He stressed the need for timely recruitment in medical and technical departments, urging the formation of local boards for quicker implementation. Additionally, he called for strict adherence to reservation rules across all recruitment drives.
To enhance transparency and combat the spread of rumors during exams, the Chief Minister directed all board and commission heads to meet with the Chief Secretary and the Director General of Police (DGP). Police Commissioners, District Magistrates, and Senior Superintendents of Police will also be part of these discussions to ensure a seamless examination process.
Adityanath underscored the role of technology in exam security, recommending the use of AI and CCTV cameras to prevent malpractices. He insisted on vigilance regarding the selection of transport, examination agencies, and centers, stating that confidentiality should be maintained at all costs. Only government and government-aided schools should be designated as examination centers, under the supervision of the District Magistrate and the District School Inspector.
The Chief Minister also introduced the E-Adhiachan portal, encouraging all departments to use it to submit requisitions and expedite the recruitment process. He stressed that no delays should occur at the departmental level, with all recruitment procedures to be completed within the prescribed timeline.
Highlighting the success of the recently conducted Uttar Pradesh Police Recruitment exam, Adityanath suggested that other boards adopt its model for smoother execution.
In addition to the recruitment-focused directives, the CM distributed smartphones and tablets to over 1,500 youth and allocated ₹4 crore towards setting up fish feed plants, reaffirming the government's commitment to youth empowerment and rural development.
