CUET 2023 Admit Card Live Updates: CUET 2023 admit card has been released today, May 19, for the first phase of the exam. NTA has released the CUET admit card 2023 two days prior to the exam commencement date. The CUET 2023 exam will be conducted from May 21 to June 6. Although originally the last date of the exam was May 31, NTA has also extended the dates for some cities with a high number of applications till June 1 and June 2 as well as on June 5 and June 6. The buffer dates of June 7 and June 8 have been kept for reserved dates. It is expected that the CUET UG admit card 2023 will be out in the evening hours.

How to Make Corrections in CUET Admit Card 2023
According to NTA, in case of any discrepancy in the particulars of the candidate or his/her photograph and signature shown on the CUET 2023 Admit Card and Confirmation Page, candidate should immediately approach the NTA Help Line between 10.00 A.M. and 5.00 P.M. In such a case, the candidate would appear in the CUET 2023 exam centre with the already downloaded Admit Card. However, NTA will take necessary action to make corrections in the record later.

In other news, NTA has decided to set up a temporary CUET 2023 Exam Centre in Srinagar to accommodate candidates who have been allotted centres outside Jammu and Kashmir. CUET 2023 Admit Card Live: Marking Scheme of the Exam
As per the CUET 2023 marking scheme, each correct question carries five marks and there is a negative marking of one mark for each wrong answer. The detailed marking scheme is given below:
i. Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
ii. Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
iii. Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
iv. If more than one option is found to be correct then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only

CUET UG 2023 Admit Card Live: Candidates Complain Authorities About Allotment of Faraway Exam Centres
Several students across the country have complained that NTA has allotted a far-off city for their CUET 2023 exam centre. NTA released the CUET city slips on May 14 and May 16 for exams scheduled till May 28. Jammu & Kashmir students have been allotted centres in Jammu and Punjab states, one student from Mumbai has complained about her exam city being allotted in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. On the other hand, a candidate from Delhi, who had entered his preferences as Delhi and Noida has been allotted centre in Meerut.

Role of CUET Admit Card 2023 Inside the Exam Hall
Candidates must show, on-demand, the CUET 2023 Admit Card downloaded/printed from the NTA website for admission in the examination room/hall. A candidate who does not possess a valid Admit Card and authorised Photo ID shall not be permitted to take the examination under any circumstances by the Centre Superintendent.

CUET Admit Card 2023: Is it Possible To Get City Allotment Other Than My Preference?
A lot of candidates have complained about getting allotted a CUET exam city which is different from their first and second preference. NTA has allotted the city based on the number of applications received for that city. In case, the number of candidates opting for a city is less than a certain minimum, then NTA reserves the right to merge one, two, or more cities. In case, the number of candidates opting for a city as a centre with a regional language is less than a certain minimum, candidates may be allotted a CUET 2023 Centre in another city irrespective of the city opted by the candidates for appearing in the exam. NTA states, "Though every effort will be made to allot a Centre in one of the cities selected by the candidate, the NTA reserves the right to allot a centre in a city other than the candidate’s choice. Allotment of Centres will be done mostly in one of the preferred cities of the candidates and there will be no human intervention. All efforts will be made by NTA to consider the comfort and convenience of candidates, including PwBD Candidates while allotting Centres."

CUET Admit Card 2023 Important Instructions
NTA has issued the following important instructions regarding CUET admit card 2023:
a. CUET 2023 Admit Cards will not be sent by post.
b. Duplicate CUET 2023 Admit Cards will not be issued at the exam Centres.
c. The candidates must not mutilate the CUET Admit Card 2023 or change any entry made therein.
d. Candidates are advised to preserve their CUET 2023 Admit Cards in good condition for future reference.
e. No Admit Card for CUET 2023 will be issued to the candidates whose applications are found to be incomplete for any reasons (including indistinct/ doubtful photographs/unsigned Applications) or who do not fulfil the eligibility criteria for the examination.

Difference Between CUET UG and Board Exam
Clarifying the difference between the Class 12 Board Exam and the CUET UG exam and talking about the relevance of the Board Exams, M Jagadesh Kumar, UGC Chairman has said, "The board examination is an 'achievement test' whereas CUET-UG is a 'selection test'. Hence, board exams at the Class 12 level are not likely to become redundant. The basic eligibility criterion for entrance into universities remains unchanged which is that a candidate must have passed the class 12 examination from any recognised board or equivalent. In fact, marks in grade 12 for eligibility will vary across programs and universities."
