A total of 148 subjects were initially selected, with 78 courses made available for admission in the current semester. Each course incurs a fee of Rs 8,000 per semester, but the university has implemented a fee waiver provision for students under the orphan quota, ensuring accessibility to education regardless of financial constraints.

Prof. Lather also outlined reservation provisions, including quotas for sports, defense personnel, Kashmiri displaced, persons with disabilities (PWD), and single girl child under the supernumerary category. Additionally, she emphasized that admissions for undergraduate courses will be based on the National Testing Agency's Common University Entrance Test (NTA CUET), with a significant number of students expressing interest in AUD's undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

The establishment of 100 new AUD Merit Research Fellowships (MRFs) in PhD programs reflects the university's commitment to fostering a robust research culture. These fellowships, accompanied by monthly allowances, aim to incentivize merit holders and bolster research endeavors.

Furthermore, AUD has digitized all degrees, making them accessible via Digi Locker, streamlining the verification process for students pursuing higher education abroad.

In line with its commitment to equity, Prof. Lather elaborated on fee waiver policies, highlighting exemptions for SC, ST, and economically weaker section (EWS) students based on government guidelines.

With 168 students successfully placed this year, AUD continues to prioritize holistic development and academic excellence, reaffirming its position as a leading institution in higher education.
