NTA is likely to announce the CUET PG 2025 exam notification for the academic session 2025-2026 in the last week of September 2024, following the previous year's trend. CUET PG 2025 exam will be providing admissions to the various master's degree programmes like MSc, MA, MBA, MFA, MCom, MCA, MTech and also to many professional degree courses offered at around 190+ CUET PG participating Institutes. CUET PG 2025 Exam Notification

CUET PG 2025 exam schedule is expected to be released in the month of September 2024 by NTA, National Testing Agency. As per the previous year's trends, Mamidala, UGC Chairman on September 19, 2023, shared a tweet mentioning the CUET PG exam dates and event schedule for the CUET PG 2024 admission process. Based on the former information provided by the UGC Chairman and NTA, the examination conducting body it is anticipated that CUET PG 2025 exam notification or schedule for the academic session 2025-2026 will be announced in the last week of September 2024.

CUET PG 2025 exam will be conducted by NTA for admissions to the various master's degree programmes for general and professional courses like:

General Courses: MSc, MA, MTech, MCA, MCom, MFA 

Professional Degree Courses: BEd, MEd, MBA, LLB, LLM

There are a total of 157 courses that will be offered at more than 190 CUET PG participating universities and include many of the top NIRF-ranking institutes like the University of Delhi, JNU, BHU, TISS, Central University of Hyderabad, Lovely Professional University, Amity and many more. CUET PG exam is a common platform providing admissions to the many government, private, semi-govt and deemed institutions. CUET PG Eligibility Criteria 2025

Age Limit: According to the CUET PG 2025 information brochure, there is no age limit for the candidates appearing in the exam. The candidates who have passed the bachelor's degree/equivalent examination or appearing in 2025 irrespective of their age can appear in master’s degree programs in the Central Universities through the CUET (PG) 2025 examination.

Q:   Would there be sectional time limit in CUET PG?

A:

National Testing Agency (NTA) has not announced any changes to the CUET PG exam pattern. Therefore, it is likely that there will be no sectional time limit in CUET PG 2025. This means that candidates will have two hours to complete the entire exam, regardless of the section they are working on.

However, it is important to note that the NTA has the right to change the exam pattern at any time. Therefore, candidates are advised to check the official NTA website regularly for the latest updates.

In the meantime, candidates can focus on preparing for the exam by following the syllabus and practicing with sample questions. It is also a good idea to develop a time management strategy for the exam. This will help candidates to ensure that they have enough time to complete each section of the exam.

Candidates must note that the Language Comprehension/Verbal Ability section is compulsory. The General Test also has to be taken by candidates opting for all test papers except Education (PGQP01).

Q:   What are the changes introduced in the CUET PG Exam?

A:

Below are the list of changes that have been introduced in the CUET PG exam for the academic session 2024-2025:

  • There will not be any general paper for CUET PG exam. From this year the candidate can choose General paper as a Subject. The comprehension part of these papers would be English or Hindi as chosen by the candidate during registration.  
  • CUET PG Question paper choice reduced: Until last year, candidates were able to choose a maximum of 20 test paper codes in all but from this year on, candidates can choose maximum of four question paper codes. 
  • Duration of Exam would be of 105 Minutes.
  • The Question paper will have 75 Questions. 
  • CUET PG 2024 examination centres reduced to 300 from 313.

Educational Criteria: Candidates applying for a master’s degree must possess a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university. Candidates must note that the minimum percentage required by the candidates for any course is university-specific and may not be the same for the courses. 

CUET PG 2025 Exam Pattern

CUET PG exam pattern for the academic session 2025-2026 is likely to remain the same as of the previous year. NTA has amended last year's CUET PG exam pattern. The general section/ Part A of the CUET PG exam has been removed. The candidate can choose General paper as a Subject. There will be only 75 multiple-choice questions (MCQs) that the exam authority will ask from the mentioned CUET PG syllabus 2025. The exam officials have designed the CUET PG syllabus to test the candidate's analytical and cognitive approach towards the applied course in the CUET PG 2024 examination.
