CUET UG 2022 exam scheduled on August 8 has been cancelled at two exam centres of Itanagar due to land slide and flash flood. NTA will announce the fresh dates and admit cards for the affected candidates soon.
CUET UG 2022 August 8 Test Cancelled at Itanagar
CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 exam for August 8 has been cancelled at the Itanagar centre of Arunachal Pradesh. Owing to flash floods and landslide in the city, the National Testing Authority has decided to give the candidates from this city another chance. To support them, NTA will soon announce retest dates for the affected candidates. Fresh admit cards will be issued for these candidates and the retest dates will be announced on the official website of CUET 2022.
On the official notice, NTA has stated, “Due to heavy flash floods and landslides in Itanagar, Arunachal Pradesh today i.e 08.08.2022 many candidates could not reach the Examination Centre due to the blockage of roads. Therefore, to support the student community, it has been decided to conduct a retest for the affected candidates of CUET (UG) – 2022.”As per reports, the Day 5 of the CUET 2022 Phase 2 has been conducted smoothly at other centres across the country. Earlier, NTA had also rescheduled the CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 for August 4 to August 6 in Kerala on account of flood.

CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 Day 5 Test Conducted Smoothly
UGC Chairman M Jagadesh Kumar has tweeted that the Day 5 of the exam has went well for both slots in 275 centres across India. As many as 64,472 candidates’ attendances has been registered. He has also stated that the candidates from two centres of Itanagar will be allotted retest dates between August 24 to August 28. Sample the tweet below.
The Phase 2 of CUET UG 2022 began on August 4 and was affected by massive technical glitches across the country. Although NTA had originally scheduled the retest for the affected candidates between August 12 and August 14, later NTA announced that the exam dates have been further postponed to August 24 and August 28 due to student requests and festivals occurring during this period.
