CUET 2022 for Phase 2 has commenced today, August 4. The exam is being conducted for 6.8 lakh candidates in a computer-based mode in 300 cities across India and abroad. Know the details here.
CUET UG 2022 Phase 2 commences today, August 4. NTA has notified that the CUET UG 2022 exams dated August 4, August 5 and August 6 have been postponed at the Kerala centres due to heavy rains and flood situations. Candidates will be notified to of the fresh dates on the official website of the exam. "Due to heavy rain in many districts of Kerala in past few days, it has been brought to the notice of NTA that it may not be possible for a large number of candidates to reach the Examination Centre for CUET (UG) – 2022 within stipulated time as the movement will be very difficult and there may be disruption of power," NTA has stated.
The exam will be continued till August 20. According to NTA, the exam for this phase will be conducted in approximately 300 cities across India and abroad. Around 6,80,000 candidates are appearing for the second phase whereas 8,10,000 candidates appeared in the first phase conducted between July 15 and July 20. CUET UG 2022 Exam Timing
The CUET exam is conducted in two slots each day. The duration of the slots varies from each other and the total duration may also vary depending on the subjects appearing for. The slot timings and the respective reporting timings are given in the table below.

Marking scheme: Candidates will be awarded one mark for each correct answer. There will be a negative marking of 0.25 mark for each incorrect answer.
The medium of the CUET 2022 question paper is 13 languages, namely – English, Hindi, Urdu, Assamese, Bengali, Odiya, Marathi, Gujarati, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Malayalam.
For Section IB, the languages that can be opted for include French, Spanish, German, Nepali, Persian, Italian, Arabic, Sindhi, Kashmiri, Konkani, Bodo, Dogri, Maithili, Manipuri, Santhali, Sindhi, Sanskrit, Tibetan, Japanese, Russian, and Chinese.

Over 58,000 candidates who had missed their scheduled exam in Phase 1 will be allotted slots in Phase 2 of CUET UG 2022. NTA has also stated that candidates who were earlier scheduled to take the exam on August 4, August 5 or August 6 and had requested for postponing their test date owing to clash with other exams such as MHTCET, NATA or BITSAT, have now been shifted to August 12, August 13 and August 14. Their admit cards will be released later on.
As per the analysis of CUET UG 2022 Phase 1, the difficulty level of the exam was easy to moderate. The questions were on the expected lines and were NCERT-based. The pattern is expected to be similar in the second phase as well.
