CUET 2024 registration statistics highlight 13.4 Lakh registrations. The top five languages included English, Hindi, Sanskrit, Bengali and Urdu. The final date for the subjects, where pen and paper mode will be conducted, is going to be declared next week. The female candidates registration in 2024 has gone up by 3%.
National Testing Agency has released the CUET UG 2024 registration statistics. As per the statistics, the number of applicants has reduced by 1.5 lakh candidates from last year. For CUET UG 2024, 13.4 lakh registrations have been received along with payment of the application fee.
This year nearly 75% of candidates will sit for the English language test followed by 62% of applicants sitting for the general test.
“Anything above 10 lakh is a big number. This is a small variation, which happens in such a large examination, and 13.4 lakh is anyway a big number” said UGC chairman Mamidala Jagadeesh Kumar.

CUET UG 2024 Registration Statistics
In 2024, the total number of students who have paid the CUET UG 2024 registration fee was recorded at 13.4 Lakh, which is slightly lower than the previous year. Out of the total registration in 2024, 7.1 lakh male and 6.3 lakh female students filled the CUET UG 2024 application form.
