Every year approximately 2000 students will be provided training in a 60-hour course with several specialisations. This way, students will gain management as well as entrepreneurship skills to succeed in future.

AKTU Training with Era Foundation

Dr APJ Abdul Kalam University of Technology (AKTU) students will be getting expert training through the 60-hour course in several subjects. The Bengaluru-based organisation, Era Foundation, is aiming to offer certified training to students so that they not only get skills to ace in the corporate world but will also get entrepreneurship skills required for their own startups.

To make this initiative successful, Chancellor Annavi Dinesh Kumar has visited Era Foundation in Bengaluru, along with Vice-Chancellor Professor JP Pandey. The team will set up a dedicated centre and outline the functioning of the organisations.

An Innovation Centre Will be Launched at AKTU

AKTU is going to provide around five thousand square metres of space for the course to be run successfully. Along with the basic infrastructure, dedicated tools, computers and machinery will be installed so that students can have practical exposure along with theoretical knowledge. The training experts from design thinking, the internet of things, data analytics and other fields will be there to guide the students.

The Course Duration Will be 60 Hours

As many as 750 institutions are affiliated with AKTU where thousands of students are studying. Hence, with this initiative, the foundation and the university plan to train two thousand students. The course duration will be 60 hours where 30 hours of theory and 30 hours of practicals will be conducted. Reportedly, the team will make records of the students who participated in the training session, as reported by News18.
