GO4Youth Olympiad to take place online from April 8 to 12: UGC

University Grants Commission (UGC) has announced an enriching opportunity for students at Universities/Colleges - the upcoming GO4Youth Olympiad organised by The Energy and Resources Institute (TERI) and endorsed by the UGC, Ministry of Environment, Forest and Climate Change (MoEFCC), Government of India and this initiative aligns with the national agenda for environmental education.

UGC highlighted the directives of the Supreme Court of India regarding the compulsory implementation of Environmental Studies at the undergraduate level and further integration of environmental education into curricula to equip students with the necessary knowledge and skills for addressing complex environmental issues as per the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020.

The GO4Youth Olympiad is a distinctive interdisciplinary program tailored for students aged l8-25 years in Higher Education Institutions (HEIs) across India and is scheduled to take place online from April 8 to 12,2024. It is designed to create awareness by focusing on environmental and sustainability issues. The application deadline for the GO4Youth Olympiad is February 25, 2024.
