The National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the notified syllabus will remain the same as the exam is not just for students from a particular board. Not all boards have rationalised the content.
CUET UG 2023: Several candidates who are looking forward to appearing in the Common University Entrance Test (CUET) UG 2023 have raised concerns over NCERT changing the books and streamlining the curriculum for students in Classes 10, 11, and 12. To lower their anxieties, now the National Testing Agency (NTA) has clarified that the notified syllabus will remain the same as the exam is not just for students from a particular board. Not all boards have rationalised the content.
The NTA has further confirmed that the CUET UG Exam syllabus will remain unaffected notwithstanding recent modifications to NCERT texts and rationalisation of the curriculum for students in Classes 10, 11, and 12. "Pupils do not need to be concerned about the most recent NCERT syllabus change," NTA official said, as reported by News18.
The CUET UG 2023 Exam is scheduled to be held from May 21 to May 31, 2023. The testing agency reopened the CUET UG 2023 registration window on April 9, 2023, after receiving requests from several candidates. Applications were accepted up until April 11, 2023, for the CUET 2023 Exam.
On April 3, 2023, the National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) announced that it has decided to bring changed in the textbooks of Classes 10, 11 and 12. This left CUET UG aspirants wondering if it will impact the syllabus of the exam too or not. CUET-UG is the second-largest entrance exam in the nation. Nearly 12.50 lakh students have registered, and 9.9 lakh of them submitted applications in the first round of the CUET-UG.
