IISER Entrance Exam 2025 will provide admissions to the BS-MS dual degree and BS degree programmes at IISER institutes, IISc Bangalore, and IIT Madras. The exam officials are expected to release the IAT 2025 exam notification in the first week of March, and the application process is anticipated to be released in the first week of April 2025. Academic Programmes Offered by IISER
IISERs offer admission into courses leading to BS-MS Dual Degree, and BS Degree (only at IISER Bhopal) Programs. Admissions are via the IAT Channel only. KVPY and JEE (Advanced) scorecards are no longer valid for admissions. Programmes offered by the participating IISER institutions are mentioned below:

Note: The Four-year BS program in Engineering Sciences and Economics Sciences is offered only by IISER Bhopal.
IISER 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Before filling out the IAT 2025 application form, candidates are advised to check the IISER 2025 eligibility criteria that one needs to satisfy in order to appear for the examination:
- An applicant must be an Indian citizen or PIO or OCI in order to apply for the IISER aptitude test 2025. Candidates who are NOT Indian nationals or PIO or OCI can apply for admission only through the JEE (Advanced) channel.
- Candidates should have passed the Class 12 (or equivalent) exam with science stream in 2024 or 2025 from any board recognized by Council of Boards of School Education in India CBSE.
- Candidates must have taken at least three subjects among Biology, Chemistry, Mathematics and Physics during their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam.
- Candidates belonging to SC/ST/PwD should have scored a minimum of 55% marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam. Candidates belonging to other categories should have scored a minimum of 60 per cent marks in aggregate or equivalent grade in their Class 12 (or equivalent) exam.

IISER 2025 syllabus will be declared by the examination conducted in the information brochure after the application process for the IISER Entrance Exam 2025 starts. Questions in the IISER exam are asked from topics present in the syllabus of Class 11 and 12 books.
