ICAR has declared in their latest notice that the UG courses hitherto being done through ICAR-AIEEA, will be done through Common University Entrance Test (CUET)-UG for the academic year 2023-24. Check the complete details here.
ICAR 2023 will take the admissions of the specified UG courses through CUET UG 2023 scores. Hence, there would be no ICAR-AIEEA (UG) for admission to UG courses in Agriculture and Allied subjects for 20 percent ICAR All India Quota Seats, for the academic year 2023-24. Earlier Admission to Bachelor Degree programmes in Agriculture and Allied Sciences (other than Veterinary Sciences), at Agricultural Universities for 20 percent of the University seats [100 percent seats in RLBCAU Jhansi, NDRI Karnal, IARI New Delhi and Dr. RPCAU Pusa, Bihar] used to be through the ICAR All India Entrance Examination for Admission- (AIEEA)-UG till 2022-23.
CUET (UG)-2023 is a common entrance exam for admission to UG programmes offered by Central Universities and other Participating Institutions. Candidates who are desirous of applying for CUET (ICAR-UG) 2023 are advised to visit https://cuet.samarth.ac.in and go through the Information Bulletin hosted thereon carefully and apply online only.

Eligibility Criteria And Degree Programmes available for CUET (ICAR-UG) 2023
During academic session 2023-24, admission to 11 Bachelor degree programmes of four years duration is available to Indian Nationals based on the merit-rank in CUET (ICAR-UG)- 2023. Candidates may note that all Undergraduate Degrees in the disciplines of Agricultural Sciences have been declared as professional degrees and its eligibility criteria are detailed as under:

1. Candidate should have studied and passed the qualifying examination (class 12) with at least three subjects out of Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Biology and Agriculture as core courses. 2. Candidate(s) are not allowed to appear in subject combination different than the one which s(he) studied and passed in class 12. Such cases will not be considered for counselling / admission and will be rejected. 3. The candidates must attempt only those subjects in the examination as per the choice given in the Application Form. Therefore, they must exercise the choice of subjects very carefully. Attempting subject combination different than choice given in the application form will invite disqualification from counselling / admission process. 4. Candidates can follow the simple steps given below to apply for CUET (ICAR- UG) 2023:
- Go to the official site of CUET UG at cuet.samarth.ac.in
- Click on CUET UG 2023 link available on the home page
- Enter the registration details and login to the account
- Fill in the application form and make the payment of application fees
- Once done, click on submit
- Download the page and keep a hard copy of the same for further need.
