ICSSR invites applications for Full-Time Internship Position

Indian Council of Social Science Research invited applications for full time internship position. There are a total of 10 positions, stipend will be INR 25,000 fixed per month, and the duration of the internship is two to six months.

Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for an online interview likely to be scheduled on January 30, and January 31, 2024. 

Candidates are required to send application in prescribed format to email id ashish@icssr.org with subject “Application for internship position”. Completed applications can be submitted up to January 27, 2024.

Preference will be given to candidates from the field/ discipline of Econometrics, Statistics, Sociology, Geography and Education.

Eligibility Criteria for ICSSR's full-time internship position

Following are the required eligibility criteria to apply for the internship openings:

• Candidates who have M.A. / M.Sc. with a minimum of 55% marks or an equivalent grade in any Social Science discipline preferably statistics, economics, sociology, education and geography from a recognized university. 
• Applicants should possess a sound understanding of research methodologies, statistical tools and data analysis in social sciences, along with communication skills. 
• Proficiency in MS Office applications is essential. 
• The ideal candidate shall demonstrate strong organizational abilities and a keen willingness to learn.

ICSSR advises the Government of India on all matters pertaining to social science research as may be referred to it from time to time; and take such measures generally as may be necessary from time to time to promote social science research and its utilization.
