IISc Bangalore: Admissions open for 2024 Proficiency Courses; Apply by December 26

On weekdays, the classes will be conducted from 6 pm to 8 pm and on Saturdays they will be held from 10 AM to 1 PM, 12Noon to 2 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM.

IISc Bangalore invited applications for 2024 proficiency courses offered by the Centre for Continuing Education at IISc. The last date to apply for the program is December 26, 2023.

The class will commence on January 1, 2024, and final exams are from May 6, 2024, to May 11, 2023.

Instructions for candidates

The following instructions are for candidates:

• Participants must register and login to the official website of IISc Bangalore.
• Participants can register for maximum of two courses
• Essential Qualification for any course is a degree in engineering or a postgraduate degree in Science/Humanities as applicable with pre-requisites wherever applicable.
• Participants must upload (BE,B.Tech/Post Graduation) Convocation / Degree Certificate without fail ( In case of failure your application will be rejected ).
• Applying to courses is strictly through online portal of CCE.
• Payment of course fee is through a payment gate way provided at our online portal and no other means of payment is entertained.
• The course fee is INR 5000/- per credit and the registration fee is Rs. 300/- per course.
• Any other gateway charges must be borne by the participant only during online payment.
• Office working hours Monday Through Friday 09.30 Hrs. to 19.00 Hrs., Saturday 10.00 Hrs. to 12.30 Hrs.

All courses under the IISc Bangalore CCE proficiency program are normally at the postgraduate level and many of these are in fact offered to IISc students regularly. Continuing education program organized under CCE-PROFICIENCE offers semester-long courses in areas of topical interest.
