The exam was conducted for the duration of three hours to test the domain knowledge of candidates in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. IAT 2204 Exam Conducted Successfully; Answer Key Releasing Today
IAT 2024 exam for the admissions to BS-MS dual degree and BS degree programme was conducted successfully today, June 9, 2024. Test takers taken the examination to test their domain knowledge in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology. The total time for answering the test was 180 minutes. Questions were of multiple choice type with only one correct answer. Students who had opted for PCM in their class 12 std, found the biology section comparatively moderate to difficult and PCB students found Mathematics portion to be moderately difficult. The overall difficulty level of the IISER Entrance Exam 2024 was found to be moderate.

Sakhshi: The exam difficulty level was easier than expected. Questions from the Chemistry subject were the easiest. Biology was of moderate level. Maths and Physics subjects were also of moderate level to solve. Nothing apart from the mentioned syllabus was asked. In physics, topics from current were asked more. From Mathematics topics like continuity, diffrentiability and differential equations had more weightage. The expected cut-off will be around 150+.
Gaurav: Overall exam difficulty level was easy to moderate. Questions from Physics and Mathematics were on the easy side. Inorganic chemistry questions were a bit tricky and the level was above moderate. Chemistry subjects had questions from coordinate and compound chemistry. Physics and Maths were equally distributed.
Dhruvi: Overall exam difficulty level was moderate. Biology was the easiest. Questions from physics were a bit difficult and tricky to solve. the expected cut-off as compared to previous years will be high because of the easy questions asked in the examination.
Umang: The IAT 2024 exam difficulty level was moderate and the questions were approach-based.There were no technical glitches in the examination. Questions from all the subjects were on the easy side. The IAT 2024 cut-off will be high this year.
IAT 2024 Answer Key will be released on June 9, 2024. At first, the exam officials will release the IISER provisional answer key 2024. Test takers will get the opportunity to raise objections against the released IISER answer key 2024.
