IIT Madras extended the JAM 2024 application form for admissions to April 29, 2024, up to 5:00 pm. Interested candidates who have yet to fill out the counselling registration form, now get the chance to fill it by logging in to the JOAPS portal and doing the registrations. JAM 2024 Application Form for Counselling Process Extends
Recently, IIT Madras has extended the JAM 2024 application form deadline for the counselling process from April 24, 2024 to April 29, 2024 till 5:00 pm. Candidates who have secured the JAM 2024 scores equal to or above the JAM 2024 cut-off for the applied subjects get extended time to apply for the counselling process at joaps.iitm.ac.in. Candidates will not get admission to the participating institutes of IIT JAM 2024, without applying for the JAM 2024 application form for the admission process.
Candidates who have submitted the Application Form can modify their programme choices till the last date of submission of the application. The last date for doing the corrections has also been extended to April 29, 2024. Based on the applications received from the candidates who have scored above the JAM 2024 cut-off, the exam officials will release the IIT JAM 2024 first admission list on May 31, 2024. Admissions to over 3000 seats across 89 postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs will be coordinated by IIT Madras for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates who have been offered and accepted the seat should pay a Seat Booking Fee of ₹15,000/- for General/OBC-NCL/EWS category and ₹7,500/- for SC/ST/PwD category online within the stipulated time period.

IIT JAM 2024 Admission Process Fee
Admissions to over 2800 seats across 90 postgraduate programmes at 21 IITs will be coordinated by IIT Madras for the academic year 2024-25. Candidates seeking admission have to pay a non-refundable fee of INR 750. Candidates who have submitted the Application Form can modify their programme choices till the last date of submission of the application. Also, Candidates who have been offered seat should pay a Seat Booking Fee ONLINE within the stipulated time.
IIT JAM 2024 Counselling: Documents Required
IIT JAM Counselling process will start on April 10, 2024 onwards. Candidates will be able to fill the admission forms through online mode. Students who will qualify the exam can submit their admission forms with payment of the admission application fee. The counselling process will be held in various rounds according to seat availability in each round. On the basis of the candidate’s rank, admission will be offered to the students. Students must bring their complete documents as informed by the authority for the document verification process.
