IIT JAM 2025 exam date has been announced by IIT Delhi, the examination conducting body recently. The JAM 2025 exam will be held on February 2, 2025, at 100 exam centres across the nation. The exam will be held for candidates taking admissions to the master's degree programmes offered at IITs, NITs and other JAM 2025 result-sharing institutes. IIT JAM 2025 Exam Date Announced
Recently JAM 2025 exam date for the academic session 2025-2025 has been released. The exam will held on February 2, 2025 for admissions to the 89 postgraduate programmes across 21 IITs and other participating institutes. JAM 2025 Exam will be conducted as a Computer Based Test in SevenTest Papers, namely, Biotechnology, Chemistry, Economics, Geology, Mathematics, Mathematical Statistics, and Physics. There is no update on the addition of the Biological Science subject to the examination.
JAM 2025 online registrations will start in the first week of September 2025, tentatively. The exam officials will announce the upcoming dates soon on the official website. JAM 2025 Scores to be used for admissions to over 2000 seats by IISc and various CFTIs including NITs, DIAT, IIEST, IISER Pune, IISER Bhopal, IIPE, JNCASR, SLIET, through CCMN.

JAM 2025 Eligibility Criteria
Prior to filling out the IIT JAM 2025 application form, aspirants must ensure that they fulfil the IIT JAM 2025 eligibility criteria.
- In order to fulfil the IIT JAM 2025 eligibility criteria, candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree.
- Candidates who had appeared or will appear for their graduation exams in 2025 are also eligible to apply, provided they submit the proof by September 2025.
- For the admission process, candidates who pass the IIT JAM 2025 exam will be eligible to apply for the admission process.
IIT JAM 2025 exam pattern states that each test paper is of three hours duration. In the exam, candidates need to attempt 60 questions which were of 100 marks weightage. These 60 questions are divided into three sections – A, B, and C. The medium of instruction for JAM test papers is English.
