The association's plea resonates with the broader academic community as the clash between the Lok Sabha Elections schedule and key entrance examinations, including CUET UG 2024, NEET UG 2024, and JEE Main 2024
In a bid to prioritize the academic interests of students amidst the upcoming Lok Sabha Elections 2024, the IndiaWide Parents’ Association has taken proactive measures by sending a letter to the Chief Election Commissioner. The association, representing concerned parents across the nation, has urged for the rescheduling of several entrance and university level exams to avert potential disruptions caused by the electoral process.
Advocate Anubha Shrivastava Sahai, President of IndiaWide Parents Association, articulated the collective concern in the letter addressed to the Chief Election Commissioner. She emphasized the adverse impact of holding crucial exams simultaneously with the electoral period. Sahai highlighted potential challenges students might face, including transportation issues, accommodation constraints, and the risk of encountering disturbances such as protests, rallies, road blockages, and traffic jams.
The association's plea resonates with the broader academic community as the clash between the Lok Sabha Elections schedule and key entrance examinations, including CUET UG 2024, NEET UG 2024, and JEE Main 2024, raises significant concerns. The scheduling conflict has drawn attention to the need for coordinated efforts between electoral authorities and examination conducting bodies. The IndiaWide Parents’ Association, in collaboration with various stakeholders, advocates for rescheduling the affected exams to a post-election period, prioritizing the academic well-being of students nationwide.
As the Lok Sabha Poll Schedule unfolds across April 19, April 26, May 7, May 13, May 20, May 25, and June 1, stakeholders await a response from electoral and educational authorities regarding the proposed adjustments to mitigate the clash between democratic participation and academic pursuits.
