ISI Admission Test 2024 Last-Minute Preparation Tips

ISI Admission Test 2024 exam will be conducted on Sunday, May 12, 2024 in 38 cities across India. This year the examination conducting body ISI Calcutta will be conducting the test in offline mode for a duration of two hours. The ISI Admission Test exam pattern is designed in such a way that the exam will be divided into 2 parts, Part 1 will have 30 MCQ questions for all the UG and PG courses. In the examination, subject domain questions will be asked for different group courses in the format of Multiple choice questions (MCQs). The exam will be a paper-pencil based test of two hours duration. Part 2 will be descriptive where 9 questions will be asked and it will consist of 120 marks. Candidates need to answer both the sections in 2 hours each.

ISI Admission Test 2024 Exam Day Guidelines

The following points bring the Dos and Don’ts to be followed on the day of the ISI Admission Test 2024 exam.

  • Reach the exam centre atleast 60 minutes before the scheduled time for the test commencement.
  • You will be permitted to enter the exam hall 30-40 minutes before the test.
  • You will have to take the seat assigned to your Roll Number and no other seat or centre, which will lead to the cancellation of your candidature.
  • During the examination, no scientific calculator will be given to you.
  • A scribble pad will be provided for rough work. Write your name and registration number before using it and return it to the invigilator at the end of the exam. Additional scribble pads may be obtained after returning the previous pad.

Things to be Carried at the ISI Admison Test 2024 Exam Centre

You must carry the following documents and items to the exam centre:

  • A coloured or laser printout of the ISI Admission Test 2024 admit card in A4 size paper.
  • A valid photo identity card issued by the Government of India such as PAN Card, Voter ID Card, Aadhaar Card, Passport, Driving License, etc.
  • Pen and pencil.
  • Transparent water bottle.
  • Pocket-sized hand sanitiser.
  • Face mask which has to be worn by the candidate throughout the time spent at the exam centre.

Important Tips For ISI Admission Test 2024

Here are some important exam tips for ISI Admission Test 2024 candidates:

  • First and foremost try to attempt the available mock tests and practice as many previous years’ question as you can.
  • Before going to the exam, once again go through the exam marking scheme and do attempt all the questions which carry no negative marking.
  • While starting the exam do not invest more time in tricky questions, starred them with the pencil and do it later after attempting all the questions in the paper. This will help you in managing your time during the exam
  • Make sure to fill the answer in OMR sheet given at the same time when you answer the question and then proceed to the next one, so that you hustle up at the last moment.
