L’Oréal India invites applications from young women for INR 2.5 lakh scholarship

L’Oréal India has announced the latest edition of the ‘For Young Women in Science’ Scholarship (FYWIS) 2023. It invited applications from the young women for the programme. The successful candidates will be granted a scholarship sum of up to INR 2,50,000 to cover their academic expenses. The deadline to apply for the scholarship is January 7, 2024.

FYWIS is a nationwide merit-based scholarship programme that provide a platform for aspiring girls to pursue their graduation in the field of science. Selected women scholars will receive financial aid to cover college fees for graduation studies in any scientific field (Pure Sciences/Applied Sciences/Engineering/Medical, etc.) at a recognized college or university in India.

Eligibility Criteria for L’Oréal India For Young Women In Science Scholarships 2023-24

The candidates must fulfill the following eligibility criteria: 

• They should have passed Class 12 in Science stream from India in AY 2022-23
• Aspirant must have scored a minimum of 85% in PCM/PCB/PCMB in Class 12
• Annual family income of the applicant should be less than INR 6,00,000
• Must be taking admission to undergraduate (bachelor’s) programmes in science-related fields in the academic year 2023-24.

Next, they need to register by entering mobile number and email id. The candidates will be directed to the application page, they need to fill the required details, upload the necessary documents and complete the application process.
