Maharshi Dayanand University invites applications for Ph.D. Program

Ph.D. at Maharshi Dayanand University: The application process for admission to Ph.D. program at Maharshi Dayanand University started today, December 28, 2023. The last date to apply for the program is January 13, 2024.

Special provision for making online corrections in reservation category/quota, including uploading of supporting documents, if any, on the admission portal is scheduled between January 15 to January 16, 2024. 

Interview schedule for Ph.D. at Maharshi Dayanand University

The interview will be conducted through physical mode in the following departments:

For Departments of Mathematics, Public Administration, ECE (UIET), Civil (UIET), ME (UIET), Geography, Environmental Science, Botany, Zoology, Visual Arts, Chemistry, Tourism Management, Bio-Tech. (UIET), Commerce, Sanskrit, Env. Sc. (UIET), CSE (UIET), Pharmaceutical Sciences, the interview will be held on January 23, 2024, 9 am onwards.

For Education, Computer Science & Applications, Forensic Science, Hindi, Law, Journalism and Mass Communication, History, Physics, Psychology, Textile (UIET), Chemistry (UIET), Physics (UIET), Genetics, Bio Chemistry, Food Technology, IMSAR, Hotel Management Departments, interview will be held on January 24, 2023.

Political Science, Physical Education, Bio-Technology (CBT), Microbiology, Medical Bio-Technology, Bio – Informatics, EE(UIET), Statistics, English, Mathematics (UIET), Economics Department will conduct an interviw on January 25, 2024. The final merit list is expected to be out on January 27, 2024. The first counselling will start on January 29, 2024, and classes will commence on January 31, 2024.

"All relevant documents i.e., marksheet of qualifying examination, proof of age and other documents should be uploaded by the candidate along with application form. In absence of marksheet of the qualifying examination, the application of the candidate shall not be considered while preparing the merit list," reads the official notification.
