NEST 2021 Answer Key Query Raising Process to End on August 23

The NEST 2021 answer keys and answer scripts were sent to the candidates on their registered email address by NISER Bhubaneswar on August 20. Candidates can download the same and raise queries against those, in case they find any of the answer keys to be wrong. The last date to raise queries against the NEST 2021 answer keys is August 23, 8 am. The exam was conducted in computer-based mode on August 14.

How to Raise Query Against NEST 2021 Answer Keys

Candidates have to follow the steps given below to raise queries or objections against one or more NEST 2021 answer keys:

• Send email carrying the subject (Physics, Chemistry or Biology), Question ID (available on the answer keys) and Participant ID (sent to them through answer key email) to the respective subject-wise email address by marking a copy to the id nest-exam@niser.ac.in

• There are four email ids for raising queries:

nest21.biology@cbs.ac.in

nest21.chemistry@cbs.ac.in

nest21.mathematics@cbs.ac.in

nest21.physics@cbs.ac.in

• The subject line of the email should be subject name: Question ID and Participant ID. For example, to raise a query about a question in the Chemistry section with “Question ID” 1111111111 and “Participant ID” 222222222222, the subject line of the email should be: Chemistry:1111111111, 222222222222.

• The body of the email should be brief and to the point and there should not be any attachments.

In case the above factors are not followed, the answer key queries or objections will not be considered by the NEST Question Paper Committee. All candidate queries will be considered by the Question Paper Committee and if there is a change in the answer key it will be announced to all candidates. Most candidates who raise queries will not receive individual responses but all legitimate queries will be considered and discussed fully by the Committee.

The NEST 2021 result will be declared on September 1. It is expected that the final answer keys will be released along with the result. National Entrance Screening Test (NEST) is conducted jointly by the National Institute of Science Education and Research (NISER), Bhubaneswar and Mumbai University - Department of Atomic Energy Centre for Excellence in Basic Sciences (UM-DAE CEBS), Mumbai. The NEST Exam is conducted annually to offer admission for Integrated MSc programmes.
