NEST 2024 Exam Conducted Successfully on June 30, 2024
NEST 2024 Exam was conducted successfully today June 30, 2024, at 116 exam centres across the nation. The exam was conducted in two shifts ie., the morning shift from 9 am to 12:30 pm and the afternoon shift from 2:30 pm to 6 pm. The exam was conducted for candidates who wish to get enrolled in the integrated MSc programmes in Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Mathematics subjects at NISER and UM- DA CEBS.
NEST 2024 exam was conducted in online mode for 210 minutes. The NEST 2024 exam pattern describes that there were 68 MCQ (multiple choice questions) of 200 marks. There were -1 negative marks in the examination.
NEST 2024 Exam Analysis: The overall exam difficulty level of the examination was moderately easy. Questions from the physics domain were quite difficult to solve and had high-order thinking questions. The difficulty level of Mathematics subjects were on moderate to tough. Some of the topics were Probability and limits, among others.
Physics - The Physics section was the toughest. The topics were calorimetry, current electricity, capacitors, kinematics, unit and dimensions, etc.
Biology - The difficulty level of this section was easy. The topics were from the expected lines like Botany, Human Physiology, and Human Reproduction, among others.
How to download NEST 2024 Answer Key?
The answer key will be published on the official website of NEST 2024, and candidates can obtain it by following the steps given below:
- Sign in to the registered email ID and click on the mail sent by NISER Bhubaneswar
- On clicking it, candidates can download the answer keys along with their answer scripts
- The correct answers to the questions are clearly marked there with a green tick
- Download and save the answer key to cross-check it with the question paper of NEST 2024 (also available along with the answer key)
- In a box on the right, “Question ID” for each question will be there which must be kept a note of
- Each candidate has a “Participant ID” which you will find at the top of the answer script, which must be saved in order to raise queries.
NEST 2024 Answer Keys will be released tentatively in two to three days after the conduct of the examination. Based on the previous year's trends, it is anticipated that NEST provisional answer key 2024 will be out on July 2, 2024. The answer key of NEST 2024 will be released in online mode for all the subjects separately. Candidates are suggested to raise objections against the NEST 2024 answer keys through the subject-specific email addresses. Candidates appearing for the NEST examination could check the answer key depending on their question paper set code.
NEST 2024 Results
NEST 2024 results will be declared on July 10, 2024. The exam-conducting authorities will declare the result of NEST 2024 in an online mode on the official website. Applicants are advised to check the scorecards of NEST exam by entering the login credentials i.e. application number and roll number to check the NEST 2024 scores. Two separate NEST 2024 rank cards will be released for NISER and CEBS.
