NEST 2025: Admission Criteria, Eligibility, and Application Fee Details

NEST 2025 Application Portal is going to be live on February 17, 2025. Therefore, candidates must recall all the crucial details related to the NEST 2025 Eligibility Criteria, NEST 2025 Application Fee and NEST Admission criteria as well in this Shiksha news. 

NEST 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Those who wish to appear for the NEST Exam should first go through the eligibility criteria for NEST admission, and if they meet the following three conditions only then they should fill in the application form.

1. Academic Qualification: Candidates must have passed the Class 12 exam (or equivalent) in 2023 or 2024, Also, candidates who are going to appear for the Class 12 exam in 2025, are also eligible to appear for the NEST Exam. There is no age restriction to appear for the exam.
2. Minimum Marks Condition: Candidates must have a minimum of 60 per cent aggregate marks (or equivalent grade) in the Class 12 exam from a recognized board and candidates who belong to SC/ST/Divyangjan categories need a minimum of 55 per cent marks.
3. Merit List: Candidates must beat the NEST 2025 merit list to successfully qualify for the NEST admission.

NEST 2025 Application Fee

Here are the details related to this year's application fee. It is mandatory to submit the application fees to submit the application form. 

• Female candidates of all categories: INR 700
• Candidates who belong to the SC/ST/Divyangjan: INR 700
• Male Candidates and other candidates who belong to the UR/OBC category: INR 1,400

Those who wish to secure admission to NISER or CEBS should know that there is no upper age limit to appear for the NEST 2025 Exam.
