NIOS Invites Applications from Schools, Colleges for Accreditation As NIOS Institutes; Details

All the institutes interested in getting NIOS accreditation have to apply at eaccr.nios.ac.in. The entire process of accreditation is through online mode.

The National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) has invited applications from all reputed academic institutions/schools/colleges/NGOs for becoming their accredited institutions (AIs)/Accredited Vocational Institutions (AVIs)/ Accredited Agencies (AAs)/ Special Accredited Institutions for Education of Dvyangs (SAIEDs). 

All the institutes interested in getting accreditation as NIOS Institutes must apply from the official website. The entire process of accreditation is through online mode. The NIOS accreditation link is available at eaccr.nios.ac.in. The institutes must note that the last date to submit the application online is April 30, 2024

“NIOS is inviting applications from all the reputed Academic Institutions/Schools/Colleges/NGOs for becoming our Accredited Institutions (Als)/Accredited Vocational Institutions (AVIS)/ Accredited Agencies (AAs)/Special Accredited Institutions for the Education of Divyangs (SAIEDs). The entire process of Accreditation is through online mode. For detailed information/procedure, interested institutions may kindly visit the official website of NIOS (https://eaccr.nios.ac.in). The last date of submission of the application is April 30, 2024.” The official notification reads. 

Accreditation for Existing Affiliated Institutes 

With an initiative to offer accreditation to existing CBSE-affiliated/State Board affiliated Schools, and NGOs, NIOS will provide academic support to the learners. 

“NIOS is utilizing the existing available resources of the CBSE-affiliated/State Board affiliated Schools, NGOs etc. by giving them accreditation. These accredited centres are known as NIOS study centres which provide academic support to the learners.” The official notification further reads. 

National Institute of Open Schooling (NIOS) is a National School Board that provides education through Open and Distance Learning (ODL) at the pre-degree level benefiting generations through Academic, Vocational and Open Basic Education programs with integration of ICT.
