The NTA will conduct the CUET UG - 2024 Exam for about 13.48 Lacs candidates at various Examination Centers located in 380 cities including 26 cities outside India between May 15, 2024, and May 24, 2024

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has unveiled the date sheet for the eagerly awaited Common University Entrance Test (CUET) Undergraduate (UG) 2024. Empowered by the Ministry of Education and the University Grants Commission (UGC), NTA has been entrusted with the responsibility to administer CUET (UG) for aspirants seeking admission into undergraduate programs offered by Central Universities and other participating institutions.

CUET UG Exam Dates

Scheduled to commence between May 15, 2024, and May 24, 2024, the CUET (UG) - 2024 examinations are poised to accommodate approximately 13.48 Lacs candidates hailing from diverse backgrounds. These candidates will converge at various examination centers spanning 380 cities, including 26 cities located beyond India's borders.

In an effort to provide a comprehensive testing experience, the CUET (UG) - 2024 exams will be conducted in a hybrid mode, integrating both the Computer-Based Test (CBT) and Pen & Paper mode. This innovative approach aims to cater to the varied preferences and requirements of the test-takers, ensuring a fair and equitable assessment process.

The CUET examination structure comprises a diverse array of 63 test papers, each meticulously designed to assess the candidates' proficiency across a spectrum of subjects. While the majority of the test papers will adhere to a duration of 45 minutes, certain specialized subjects such as Accountancy, Economics, Physics, Computer Science / Informatics Practices, Chemistry, Mathematics / Applied Mathematics, and the General Test, will have an extended duration of 60 minutes. This thoughtful arrangement seeks to accommodate the nuances and intricacies inherent in these subjects, enabling candidates to demonstrate their full potential.

 

To further promote fairness and equality in the examination process, NTA has designated specific test papers to be conducted in the Pen & Paper mode, based on the preferences of the majority of candidates. Conversely, the remaining papers will be administered in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode, ensuring a seamless and efficient testing experience.

CUET UG 2024 Candidates are strongly advised to meticulously review the comprehensive schedule/date sheet provided in Annexure 1 and Annexure 2, respectively. By adhering to the designated timings and venues, candidates can navigate the examination process with confidence and clarity.
