PU CET 2024 exam will be held on May 12, 2024, for four papers namely Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics and Biology at Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Muktsar and Hoshiarpur. 

PU CET Exam Day Guidelines 2024

Panjab University (PU) will conduct the PU CET UG 2024 exam on May 12, 2024. Students appearing for the entrance examination are suggested to know the PU CET exam day guidelines 2024 beforehand. The exam day guidelines include requisites to be adhered to by the students. The authorities have already released the PU CET admit card 2024 on the official website. 

The PU CET examination will be held at four exam centres namely Chandigarh, Ludhiana, Muktsar and Hoshiarpur. Students can check the details of the PU CET exam centre 2024 from the admit card. The examination will be held for a duration of 70 minutes for each section. However, physically handicapped students will be allotted 20 extra minutes for each paper. 

PU CET Exam Day Guidelines 2024

Students must adhere to the following exam day guidelines during the PU CET exam time: 

  • Students appearing for the entrance examination shall keep a printout of their PU CET admit card 2024 as no candidate will be allowed to enter the examination hall without a PU CET hall ticket. 
  • Physically handicapped students will be provided with a special arrangement for amanuensis, who will write answers on behalf of blind or permanently/ temporarily disabled students. 
  • 20 extra minutes will be provided to the visually handicapped/Persons with Disability (PwD) candidates for each paper.
  • For every wrong answer, 25% of marks will be deducted.
  • The medium of examination will be English only. 
  • The use of a calculator is not allowed in any subject/paper.
  • If any student is found to be carrying any electronic item/ paper/ cheating material, that candidate will be expelled from the examination.
  • Any person, impersonating another candidate, shall be disqualified from entering in any Panjab University examination for five years.
