Rajasthan JET 2024 Final Counselling Round 2 is going to end tomorrow, October 11, 2024, for Round 2. Students must visit the official website to accept their allotted seats and to submit the seat acceptance fee before the end date. 

Rajasthan JET 2024 Round 2 Counselling for the final round for seat acceptance and submitting the fees for the allotted seats is going to end tomorrow October 11. Candidates who appeared for this year's Rajasthan JET 2024 Exam and registered themselves for the counselling process need to visit the official website to accept their allotted seats and to submit the seat acceptance fee before October 11, 2024.

The display of the second provisional seat allotment result started on October 9, 2024, in the candidates' login. The last date for candidates to report to their allotted campus is October 14, 2024, for the Second Round of Final Counselling. 

Rajasthan JET 2024: Required Documents

Here is the list of important documents candidates must carry with them while reporting to the campus for the Rajasthan JET 2024 Final Round 2 Counselling Process

  1. Secondary marksheet and Certificate.

  2. Sr. Secondary marksheet and Certificate.

  3. B.Sc. Degree/ PDC (only in case of Pre-PG Candidate).

  4. M.Sc. Degree/ PDC (only in case of Pre-Ph.D. Candidate).

  5. Caste Category Certificate, if applicable (the certificate should not be older than one year OR as per the Rajasthan Govt. Rules in case of OBC/MBC/EWS).

  6. Migration Certificate.

  7. Transfer Certificate.

  8. Certificate for wards/widows of defence/paramilitary/police must be same as priority mentioned in the application form, if applicable (Certificate must be duly sealed & signed by a competent authority in the prescribed format mentioned in JET-2024 booklet, Annexure- 1).

  9. Certificate of physically handicapped (Specially Abled Person), if applicable (must be 40% or above as mentioned in the certificate issued by the competent authority in the format prescribed by the State/Central Government).

  10. Gap Affidavit, if applicable.

  11. Domicile Certificate (Criteria I as mentioned in the JET-2024 Booklet) OR Proof of Domicile Criteria /Residential Requirement (related documents must be produced according to Criteria II to IX as mentioned in the JET-2024 Booklet.

Students must know that it is mandatory to carry the above-mentioned certificates on the day of reporting to campus. Also, it is better to visit the official site in case of any changes to dates and events because the JET office will not be responsible if a candidate lacks the needed information published on the official site. The exam conducting authority has the right to change dates and schedules.

  1. Counseling Authority: The Rajasthan Joint Entrance Test (JET) Agriculture counseling is conducted by the Maharana Pratap University of Agriculture and Technology (MPUAT), Udaipur, which is the organizing body of the exam.

  2. Counseling Registration: Candidates who qualify in the Rajasthan JET Agriculture exam are required to register for counseling. The registration process typically takes place online, and candidates need to provide their exam details, personal information, and preferences for courses and colleges.

  3. Choice Filling: After registration, candidates are required to fill in their choices for the courses and colleges they wish to get admission into. The choices are filled in order of preference.

  4. Seat Allotment: Based on the rank obtained in the Rajasthan JET Agriculture exam and the choices filled by the candidates, seats are allotted. Seat allotment results are published online.

  5. Reporting to Allotted College: Candidates who are allotted seats need to report to the respective colleges within the specified time frame along with the required documents and the admission fee.

  6. Documents Verification: During the counseling process, candidates' documents, such as mark sheets, identity proof, caste/category certificates, and other relevant documents, are verified to ensure eligibility.

  7. Payment of Fees: Candidates must pay the prescribed admission fee and complete other formalities as required by the allotted college.

The total amount of the online option form is INR 6,200, out of which INR 5000 is adjusted in the college fee, and the remaining INR 1200 is the non-refundable acceptance fee/counselling fees. The acceptance fee is paid when the selected candidates are allotted their colleges.

Q:   What happens if a student fails to report to their allotted college during Rajasthan JET Counselling?

If a student fails to report to their allotted college then the total amount of INR 6,000, which is INR 1000 and INR 5000 will be forfeited. The students will not get their refund nor this amount be transferred to the college.
