TIFR GS 2025 Application Process Started: Check how to apply & eligibility criteria

TIFR GS 2025 Application Process has started. Students who want to appear for the TIFR GS 2025 Exam to pursue the MSc, Integrated MSc PhD should visit the official website to complete their registration process. The TIFR GS Exam 2025 is scheduled for December 8, 2024. 

The TIFR GS 2025 application process has started as per the given schedule on the official website of the TIFR GS. The TIFR GS Application Process 2025 began on September 21, 2024. Candidates who want to appear for the TIFR GS 2025 Exam should register themselves by visiting the official website. The last date to submit the TIFR GS Application Fees is October 6, 2024, by 11:00 pm.

The TIFR GS 2025 Hall Ticket will be available in the mid of November 2024. The TIFR GS 2025 Application process end date for completing registration is October 20, 2024. It is mandatory to fill in the application form before the end date to be able to appear for the TIFR GS 2025 Exam which is scheduled for December 8, 2024. Students who will appear for the TIFR GS 2025 Exam are advised to first go via the TIFR GS Eligibility criteria as well as the TIFR GS 2025 Dates to prepare for the exam well prepared.

TIFR GS 2025 Application Process Schedule

Students who want to take the TIFR GS 2025 Exam should also go through the TIFR GS eligibility criteria to eliminate any problems that may occur during the TIFR GS admission process. The Application Form online window period remains open for a month therefore, students must submit the application fees before the end date. 

Steps to Fill TIFR GS 2025 Application Form

Here are the steps for the participating candidates to register themselves for the TIFR GS 2025 Exam. 

Step 1: Students must visit the official website and click on the 'Begin Application' Tab on the left side. 

Step 2: Students need to click on the "click here for new registration" tab.

Step 3: After clicking on the previous tab, the registration form page will open in the new tab. 

Step 4: Students need to submit all needed details like name, gender, date of birth, birthplace, email ID, mobile number, class 10 roll number, passing year, class 10 board name, program and subject name and more.

Step 5: After this student need to click on the 'Verify' tab to verify their number and then they will receive an OTP.

Step 6: After completing the registration process students will be to complete their application form by clicking on the "Go to application" tab.

Step 7: Students need to have a scanned image/electronic copy of their Passport size photograph (jpg file below 80 kb in size) and a scanned copy of their signature (jpg file below 80 kb in size).

Step 8: Review all the details before clicking the submit button.

Step 9: YouCandidates must take a print of their application form after successful registration or save the same as a PDF file.

If a student is applying under the Fee Waiver category, then they need a scanned copy of the recommendation letter from the Principal/HOD of your college.

TIFR GS 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Here is the information related to the eligibility criteria for the TIFR GS 2025 Entrance Exam.

• PhD Physics: MSc/ MS in Physics, or equivalent, on completion of a course whose duration is not less than five years in total.
• PhD Mathematics: MA/ MSc/ MTech.
• PhD Biology: Masters in Basic Science (MSc Physics/ Chemistry/ any branch of Biology) or Bachelor in Applied Science including MSc (Ag), BTech, BE, BVSc, BPharma (four-year course), MBBS, BDS, MPharma.
• PhD Chemistry: MSc/ BE/ BTech/ MPharm or equivalent degree. 
• PhD Computer and System Science: BTech/ BE/ MTech/ ME/ MCA/ MSc or equivalent degree in Computer Science/ Electronics & Communications Engineering/ Electrical Engineering or related branches. Candidates who have done exceptionally well in BTech/ BE/ MTech/ ME/ MSc degree courses in other disciplines may also be considered. Besides, candidates who have done exceptionally well in three-year degree courses in related subjects may be considered for integrated PhD.

Note: Candidates must note that TIFR will offer admissions to both the integrated PhD and PhD degree courses for the academic session 2025-2026.
