UGC: Live streaming of Western Zone Vice Chancellors conference today

UGC has requested the universities and colleges to join the live streaming of the Western Zone Vice Chancellors conference today through various social media platforms.

University Grants Commission (UGC) has written to the HEIs regarding the live streaming of the Western Zone Vice Chancellors conference today, October 26, 2023.

UGC said to facilitate the universities to develop a road map for the effective implementation of significant initiatives of National Education Policy (NEp), 2020 and ensure that the benefits reach a large section of the aspirational youth in a time-bound manner, it has constituted five zonal committees with Vice Chancellors of Central Universities, State Universities, Private Universities, and Deemed to be Universities. The Committees have been Constituted in five zones namely the Northern, North Eastern & Eastern, Western, Southern and Central Zones.

In this regard the first Conference on the Implementation of National Education policy, 2O2O is being held for the Western Zone on October 26, 2023, by Maharaj Sayajirao University of Baroda, Gujarat, added the notification.

UGC requested the Universities and Colleges to join the live streaming of the conference for the benefit of faculty, students, and staff from 09:00 AM to 05:00 PM.

The Western Zone Vice Chancellors’ Conference shall be streamed live on the following social media platforms - Vande Gujarat Channel No. 1, https:/ /facebook.com/TheMSUBaroda, and https:// conferencewz.gujgov.edu.in.

The UGC has been striving to fulfil the vision of the National Education Policy (NEP), 2020 and ensure that the benefits reach a large section of the aspirational youth in a time-bound manner, according to the UGC's official notification.
