Viksit Bharat@2047: ICSSR invites proposals for Indian Researchers

Indian Council of Social Science Research has invited proposals from Indian researchers under "Special call for Collaborative Research Projects on Vision Viksit Bharat@2047. The duration of the study will be 8-12 months.

ICSSR will shortly issue detailed guidelines for applying to the following themes and subthemes.

Themes and Subthemes

The main themes include Economic Prosperity and Sustainability, Human resources, Holistic Growth and Development, Effective Governance, Research, and Innovation and Development. The sub-themes under Economic Prosperity and Sustainability are Natural Resources and Regional Development and Economic Prosperity, and the subthemes under Human Resources are inclusive social development, and education and skilling. Vishwa Mitra Bharat and Law and Governance under Effective Governance, and Technology and Innovation and Indigenous Technology Innovation and Development under Research, Innovation and Development.

Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) was established in the year of 1969 by the Government of India to promote research in social sciences in the country. ICSSR provide grants for projects, fellowships, international collaboration, capacity building, surveys, publications etc. to promote research in social sciences in India. Documentation centre of ICSSR - National Social Science Documentation Centre (NASSDOC) - provides library and information support services to researchers in social sciences. ICSSR has developed ICSSR Data Service to serve as a national data service for promoting a powerful research environment through the sharing and reuse of data among the social science community in India.
