Shiv Nadar University Admissions 2022: Shiv Nadar University is now inviting applications for PhD admissions for the academic year 2022-23 for engineering, commerce, economics, mathematics, physics and interdisciplinary research. The University has proposed to offer a direct PhD programme in engineering post-BE degree.

Shiv Nadar University has also introduced a new research specialisation in English literature or English language teaching (ELT). The research scholars in English literature will read literary texts from across the world, including Indian writing in English during their course period. ELT researchers will examine how English is learnt in a multilingual India so that they can come up with theories relevant to the Indian context.

Candidates who are interested must note that the last date to apply is on or before June 17. Candidates will have to appear for the written entrance test and all those who will clear it will get shortlisted for the interview.  Admission is open to Indian nationals, non-resident Indians and foreign nationals, a university release added.

Shiv Nadar University Chennai had also begun the admissions for its undergraduate programs- for the academic year 2022-23. The University is inviting applications for the six programs it offers in the disciplines of Computer Science and Engineering, Commerce, and Economics.

The University, this year, has introduced a new, future-focused specialization in Cybersecurity for BTech in Computer Science in addition to the two at present being offered programs of BTech in Artificial Intelligence & Data Science and BTech in Computer Science & Engineering (with a focus on the Internet of Things). The University is also launching a new Department of Economics in the ‘School of Science and Humanities’ offering new-age specializations in programs like BSc. in Economics (Data Science).
