SSC CGL Skill Test 2022 dates have been released by the Commission. The Skill tests will be conducted on August 4 and 5. SSC released the exam dates online only on July 15. The Skill test is the second last stage of the selection process. In addition to this, the SSC CGL Skill test is qualifying only and the candidates need to qualify this exam as per the given standards. The candidates who qualify the skill test will be called for Document Verification (DV). SSC CGL Tier-III result was released on July 7.

SSC CGL Skill Test 2022 will have three modules and the candidates will be appearing as per their Tier-III results.  The following are the qualifying standards for each module:

Qualifying Standard for SSC CGL DEST  

There will be a master test passage of around 2000 characters that will require the same number of key depressions in 15 minutes. The candidates need to type the words in the specified time. 

In the test, a combination of alphanumeric keys followed by space will be considered as a word.

SSC CGL Typing Test/DEST

Candidates should note that printouts of the typed text will not be taken after the skill test (Typing/DEST).

The Commission suggested the candidates to select English (US) as the preferred language in the English Typing test as well as in DEST.

SSC CGL Computer Proficiency Test (CPT) 2022 Details

The SSC CGL CPT 2022 will have two modules that are separate from the above.

Module 1 - PowerPoint Presentation/Generation of Slides (MS PowerPoint)

Module 2 - Spread Sheet (MS Excel) will be administered on MS Office platform (Microsoft Office -2007 and higher versions)

• The duration of each module will be 15 minutes. 
• These modules will be conducted one after the other
• After the completion of each module, the candidates will be required to take the printout of their work and write their Roll Number, Name, Exam Date and put their signature on each page.
