SSC released a notice asking the Postal Circle reference from the candidates selected for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant in the Department of Posts in the SSC CHSL exam 2019. The candidates need to send their postal circle preference in the specified format.
The department informed that the Postal Circle of the candidates nominated for appointment to the post of Postal Assistance /Sorting Assistant in the Department of Posts through the Combined Higher Secondary Level Exam, 2019, which will be made based on their rank (in the merit list), order of preference (option), and vacancy available at her/his turn in the category under which she/he has been selected.
Staff Selection Commission (SSC) released the final SSC CHSL result 2019 on May 10, 2022, recommending 3,364 candidates for the post of Postal Assistant/Sorting Assistant, in the Department of Post.
SSC released the CHSL 2019 result of withheld candidates on July 28. To provide equality of opportunity to the 15 candidates declared selected in the revised result, the Competent Authority seeks circle preference from these 15 candidates through online mode. This will provide another opportunity for those candidates also who did not submit their postal circle preference till July 17. The official notice mentioned that candidates who have already submitted their circle preferences earlier need not to re-register and submit their preference again.
A candidate can be allocated to only one of the 23 postal circles in India. After the allocation, the competent authority of the allocated circle will take action for the completion of other procedural requirements leading to the issue of an offer of appointment.
