TANCET 2022 Exam Details Out; Registration Starts on Mar 30

Anna University has released the schedule for TANCET 2022. The registration window will be facilitated from March 30 to April 18.

TANCET 2022 Exam Details

Anna University has released the exam details for TANCET 2022. Earlier, only the exam dates were released. Details including the official information brochure, advertisement, application schedule, along with the admit card release date have been released. The registration window has been scheduled to open on March 30. Aspirants will be able to apply for the TANCET exam until April 18 (4 PM). Anna University will likely release the TANCET hall ticket on May 2 for the exam to be conducted on May 14 and May 15.

This year, Anna University has hiked the application fee to INR 800 for unreserved category candidates and INR 400 for reserved category candidates. For each additional course exam, candidates have to pay an additional application fee amount as per their category. In the previous exam sessions, the application fee for unreserved category candidates was INR 600, while the reserved category candidates had to pay INR 300. 

As per the TANCET 2022 information brochure, Anna University has reduced the exam cities to 14. In the previous exam year, there were 15 exam cities. Virudhunagar has been scrapped from the list of TANCET 2022 exam cities. These cities will have exam centres located in multiple locations.

The TANCET 2022 exam pattern remains unchanged with a total of 100 questions to be answered within two hours. Each correct response will fetch (+) 1 mark, whereas an incorrect response will lead to (-)1/3. All questions in the TANCET question paper will be objective type with four answer options out of which one will be correct.
