Oxford University Press India (OUP), a department of the University of Oxford, conducted a teacher training initiative ‘Decoding NCF for the English Classroom,’ led by ELT expert and author Gayatri Khanna for English teachers in Delhi. Complementing its role as an integrated education services provider, OUP launched the updated version of the interactive English curriculum, ‘New Pathways,’ aligning it with the NCF curriculum objectives.
Reiterating the goals of the National Curriculum Framework for School Education (NCF) 2023, the teacher training program is aimed at equipping teachers with techniques that can provide a holistic and authentic learning experience in classrooms. With an emphasis on experiential learning, art integration, cross-curricular and real-life connections, the workshop intended to develop critical thinking, cross-curricular connections, multilingualism, and exercises to promote a sense of rootedness and pride in India.

The interactive learning pedagogy of OUP’s coursebooks is aligned with NCF 2023.
