Revised TSEdCET 2020 exam date out; test to be held in July

Revised TSEdCET exam date 2020 has been announced by TSCHE. Check details below.

The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has released revised TSEdCET 2020 exam date. The teaching entrance exam will now be conducted by Osmania University on July 15.  

It may be noted that earlier, TSEdCET 2020 was scheduled to be held on May 23 in two shifts - 11:00 AM-1:00 PM and 3:00-5:00 PM. However, the exam was postponed due to the emergent of the Coronavirus pandemic.

Apart from this, the last date to apply online for TSEdCET 2020 exam was April 20. However, the TSEdCET registration date was extended twice first to May 15 and then to May 31 due to the lockdown situation arising of the Coronavirus pandemic.

About TSEdCET Exam

The Telangana State Education Common Entrance Test (TS EdCET) is conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad on behalf of the TSCHE every year in order to admit candidates in B.Ed courses offered at the Colleges of Education in Telangana State. The exam is conducted once a year in online mode.

TSEdCET exam pattern 2020 is such that total 150 objective-type questions are asked in exam that candidates need to answer in two hours duration.
