RIE CEE 2020 last date of application extended; Exam to be postponed
RIE CEE last date of application extended till May 30, new exam date will be announced later.
RIE CEE last date of application for admission into various teacher education programmes of Regional Institutes of Education has been extended till May 30. As per previous schedule, the last date of application for RIE CEE is May 4. The extension has been made keeping in view the ongoing nationwide lockdown in the wake of coronavirus pandemic.
The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) conducts RIE CEE for various institutes. These RIEs are offering the following teacher education programs - B.Sc.B.Ed. (4 years), B.A.B.Ed. (4 year), M.Sc.Ed. (6 year), B.Ed. (2 year), and M.Ed. (2 year). RIEs participating in this common entrance test are RIE Ajmer, RIE Bhopal, RIE Bhubaneswar, RIE Mysuru, NERIE Shillong, and Prarambh School for Teacher Education Jhajjar, Haryana.

The exam was scheduled to be conducted on May 24 in various exam centers in the participating states. Admit card for the same was to be released on May 12. The new regarding RIECEE admit card and exam will be updated on the official website, candidates check the website frequently.
Candidates applying to B.Sc.B.Ed., B.A.B.Ed., and M.Sc.Ed. need to submit their qualifying examination marks on the official website, the dates for different groups will be notified later as the previously notified dates become invalid after the postponement of RIE CEE exam.
