Telangana Governor urges medical students to give priority to serving poor

While inaugurating the Skill Lab in All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bibinagar, Telangana Governor Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan said the medical students must give priority to serving the poor.

Dr Tamilisai Soundararajan, Telangana Governor has said at All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) Bibinagar that the medical students must give priority to serving the poor during their medical practices.

She inaugurated the Skill Lab in AIIMS Bibinagar.

Her tweet reads, "Inaugurated Skill Lab and released 'Anusandhan & Operation Swasthya' magazine at @AiimsBibinagar #Hyderabad. Glad to know that the Skill Lab has the state-of-the-art facilities & first of its kind stimulators in the state of Telangana to train the medics on various procedures."

 

"Appreciated @AiimsBibinagar team for bringing out the 'Operation Swasthya Magazine' that will help to boost research activities among Students & Faculties. Thank Honb @PMOIndia for his vision to create 15 new AIIMS in 8 yrs of Seva out of which one in BibiNagar is fast growing," she said through another tweet.

"The students of AIIMS were getting best teaching in medical examination. Bibinagar AIIMS was a jewel in the health care sector in the state. In all, 217 major surgeries and over 3,000 minor surgeries were performed by the doctors in Bibinagar AIIMS so far," she said, as reported by Telangana Today.

Telangana CM KCR shares dais with Governor Tamilisai

After months of cold war with the Governor, Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao attended the swearing-in of Justice Ujjal Bhuyan as Chief Justice of Telangana High Court and shared the dais with Governor. 

Though, the speculations were going on that he will stay away from the event due to his cold war with Governor but he not only attended the ceremony but also exchanged pleasantries with her, as reported by The Hans India.
