Telangana School Admissions 2022: A government school in Telangana is paying INR 5,000 to parents for enrolling their children in school. While parents across the country are worried about paying whopping costs to get their ward enrolled in private schools, this government school is ensuring the agenda of ‘education for all’. In order to increase admissions to the local Mandal Parishad primary school, the public leaders in Godhumakunta hamlet, in the Medchal-Malkajgiri area, came up with this unusual idea.
Offer poster on the school gate
The school has put a poster of the offer on the school gate with the help of public representatives. Sarpanch Mahendra Reddy and his deputy Anjaneyulu took the lead in encouraging parents to send their children to government schools.
It also emphasizes the school’s primary qualities and the resources available to pupils.
Facilities for Class 1 to 7 available through donations
The school administration has guaranteed that all of the facilities for pupils in classes 1 to 7 have been provided thanks to donations from benefactors.
Apart from paying INR 5,000 to parents for enrolling their students to this school, the school also provides two sets of clothes, shoes, socks, books, a backpack, and a bus pass, all of which are provided free of charge. The state government also provides students with a mid-day lunch. The local government has ensured that there is enough flora in the school grounds and has spruced up the structure.
The school offers in both Telugu and English medium. From this academic year, the state government had introduced English as the medium of instruction for Classes 1 to 7.
