The TN state will review the situation in the state and decide on the conduct of exams within on June 4.

The Tamil Nadu government will announce its final decision regarding the conduct or cancellation of TN 12th exams 2021 on June 4. The decision will be taken after reviewing the COVID-19 pandemic situation in the state.

The announcement came by the government after the Centre decided to cancel the Class 12 exams 2021 in view of the prevailing pandemic situation. The state CM Stalin will take an informed decision after discussing the feasibility of conduction of exams with educationists and various experts.

Helpline for TN Class 12 students

The state has provided an email id and helpline number for the concerned parents, students and teachers to give their opinions on holding the exams this year. They can register their opinion at email id- tnschooledu21@gmail.com, and helpline number- 14417.

Class 12th Exams 2021 cancelled by the centre

In a high-level meeting chaired by PM Modi and other ministers, it was decided to cancel the Class 12th board exams keeping the safety of students and teachers in mind. He told that the decision was taken to keep the stress and anxiety of the students, teachers, and parents regarding the conduction of exams at bay. He also said that it would be unfair to force students to appear for the exams right now.

The CBSE 12th results 2021 will be made as per well-defined objective criteria in a time-bound manner, similar to the evaluation of Class 10 results. The official criteria will be released by CBSE soon.
