UCEED 2022 counseling schedule, step-wise process, seat allotment

The counseling process for UCEED 2022 is open for candidates who have qualified in the UCEED 2022 entrance exam. 

IIT Bombay is conducting the counseling process for UCEED 2022 in online mode. The application process for UCEED 2022 counseling is open from March 13-31, 2022. Candidates who have qualified in the UCEED 2022 entrance exam are eligible to apply for admission. As part of the application process, the candidate will have to participate in the choice filling and locking process. 

The seat allotment results of UCEED 2022 for Round I will be announced on April 10, 2022. The choice filling for UCEED counseling 2022 is open until March 31, 2022.

During choice filling, the candidate has to pick their choice of institutes in the order of priority.

Factors to be considered for UCEED 2022 Seat Allotment 

The allotment of seats (institutes) will be based on the following parameters.

1. The UCEED 2022 merit rank of the candidate
2. The institute selected at the time of choice filling.

UCEED 2022 counseling process

The allotment of UCEED 2022 seats will be conducted in THREE joint seat allotment rounds. 

If a first-choice seat is allotted, the candidate has the option to accept or decline the seat. If the seat is accepted, the candidate has to pay the seat acceptance fee and confirm the seat. 

In case a 2nd, 3rd, 4th, or 5th priority seat has been allotted, the candidate has the option to accept or accept the seat and opt for upgrade. If the candidate accepts the seat, then he/she will not be considered for upgrade. However, if the candidate opts the “accept and upgrade” option, then the candidate may be offered a higher preference seat (institute) seat in case of availability in subsequent rounds.
