The UCEED 2022 exam was conducted on January 23. The cut-off marks of Part A will be used to shortlist candidates for Part B.
The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT), Bombay will release the cut-off marks for Part A of UCEED 2022 on February 10, 2022. The cutoff marks would be released for all the categories and indicate the minimum marks one needs to secure to get shortlisted. The Part B question paper of only shortlisted candidates will be evaluated. Any candidate who fails to get shortlisted, his or her question Part B answer books will not get evaluated.
IIT Bombay will use a specific formula for calculating the UCEED 2022 Part A cut-off marks.
UCEED 2022 - Procedure for calculation of Part A Cut-off Marks
- Cutoff marks(δ) for Part-A for GEN category (δ) = μ + (σ⁄2)
where μ and σ are the average mark and standard deviation of the distribution of marks obtained by ALL the candidates in Part-A of CEED 2022. The μ and σ will be rounded off to two decimal places.
- Cutoff marks for OBC-NCL/EWS = 0.9δ
- Cutoff marks for SC/ST/PwD = 0.5δ
Key points related to UCEED 2022 Cutoff Marks
The Part A of UCEED 2022 is a computer-based test that includes objective-type questions. IIT Bombay will release cut-off marks only for Part A. It will not release any cutoff for the subjective-based Part B. The Part A answer books will be evaluated manually.
- It is mandatory for candidates to qualify in Part A by securing the cutoff-off marks.
- IIT Bombay will release UCEED 2022 cutoff separately for all the categories.
- Candidates who meet the cutoff criteria will get shortlisted.
- The Part A of only such candidates will be evaluated who get shortlisted.
- The final score of UCEED 2022 will be calculated by adding the marks of Part A and Part B.
- The scorecard of UCEED 2022 will be issued to ALL candidates who have appeared in the entrance exam.
- However, only shortlisted candidates will get a Rank.
UCEED 2022 Result
The results of UCEED 2022 will be declared on March 10. The UCEED 2022 scorecards will be available for download from March 14 to June 14.

- Final Score = Part A Marks + Part B Marks
