Allotments are made on the basis of the candidateβs UCEED 2022 merit rank and choices opted during choice filling. Candidates can opt for accept, freeze or float options.
IIT Bombay has declared UCEED 2022 seat allotment results for Round II on May 10, 2022. The allotment is category-specific and has been reeleased for all the five participating IITs - IIT Bombay, IIT Guwahati, IIT Delhi, IIT Hyderabad, and IIITDM Jabalpur.

Candidates who have been allotted seats in Round II have the following options:
- Accept (or freeze) the allotted seat and pay the seat acceptance fee. Candidates who opts for this option will not be considered for allotment in subsequent rounds.
- Opt for the FLOAT option - Candidates opting for this option will be considered for UPWARD movement ( or a higher preference seat) in subsequent rounds.
- Decline the offer - If an offer is declined, the candidate will not be considered for admission in subsequent rounds of seat allotment.
IIT Bombay will send payment details to all allotted candidates at their registered email IDs. Seat acceptance and payment have to be completed between May 15-26.
Also, the candidate can decline or opt for the FLOAT option latest by May 26, 2022.
In the case of candidates who have opted for the FREEZE option, the provisional allotted letter will be sent to their email IDs soon.
