Candidates appearing in UCEED exam in the next session (2023) can continue to follow the old syllabus. UCEED 2022 exam is now over and seat allotment process is going on.
IIT Bombay has notified that a new syllabus and exam pattern will come into effect from 2024 onward. As per the new exam pattern, the UCEED entrance exam will have two parts: Part A and Part B. Part A will be conducted in computer-based mode, while for Part B questions will be displayed on the screen, but answers have to be written/ drawn on answer booklet provided at the exam hall.
The Part B exam in the new format will be of 60 minutes duration.

Part A will be administered in computer-based mode and comprise THREE sections.

Part B will include two questions, one on Drawing and one question on Design Aptitude. The questions will be displayed on the computer system at the test center. However, answers to the two questions have to be written/ drawn on the answer book provided by the invigilator. |

UCEED 2022 Update
The seat allotment process is now underway for UCEED 2022. Round I seat allotment results were announced on April 10. Seat allotment results for Round II will be announced on May 10, 2022.
Those who are allotted seats will have to accept their seats and pay the seat acceptance fee between May 15-26.
