Ukraine returned medical students to attend practicals in West Bengal colleges
While Ukraine returned medical students are demanding to be accommodated in the Indian medical colleges, in West Bengal students will attend practicals in the medical colleges of the state.
As per the TOI report, the first-year students received a list wherein their names were written in front of different medical colleges with reportedly a proclamation that they can attend practical lessons at these medical colleges in a distributed manner.
Five students have been allotted Calcutta Medical College and Hospital, SSKM Hospital, eight at NRS Hospital and four each at Calcutta National Medical College and RG Kar Medical College. Fourteen students have been allotted to Burdwan Medical College and nine students have been allotted classes at North Bengal Medical College.
Ukraine returned medical students demand to be accommodated in Indian colleges
The medical students are asking the Indian government for a proper response on this matter. Some of the related tweets are:
"Dear @DrSJaishankar sir, we Ukraine returned medical students too are the future of our country....it's been more than 2 months since we came back from the war zone after facing the worst situation of our life. We r in uncertainty about our future."
"What about the medical students who returned from @Ukraine and still no proper response from Government of India & State Governments for their admission. Everyone dreams big but very few get support from family and ruling governments. Please focus on this issue His Excellency!"
