According to the report, from a total of approx. 56 lakh students who registered for the UP board examination, 2.39 lakh students didn’t turn up for the first examination.
On the first day of the UP Board exam of class 10 and class 12, over 2.39 lakh students skipped the first paper of Hindi Language. According to the details generated by the Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP), a large number of students didn’t appear for the first paper of the UP Board season. The UP Board annual examination of class 10 and class 12 started on February 18, 2020. Both higher secondary and intermediate classes had their first exam of Hindi language subject and out of the total lot that registered for the examination, 2.39 lakh students decided to skip the exam.
According to the report, from a total of approx. 56 lakh students who registered for the UP board examination, 2.39 lakh students didn’t turn up for the first examination. Out of the total 2.39 lakh, around 1.57 lakh were class 10 students and 82,091 were class 12 students. The UPMSP released the details about the number of absentees for the UP Board’s first examination in the evening after collecting the data from the exam control rooms.
The UP Board not only released the details of the students who skipped the first examination of UP Board 2020 but also released the details of the number of students who caught cheating during the examination. According to the official details released by the UPMSP, on the first day, around 34 students were caught cheating using illegal means. Of the total number of students caught cheating, 26 were class 10 boys and 1 was a class 10 girl. Similarly, 7 class 12 boys were also caught cheating by the exam flying squad. The Board has filed FIR and registered cases against the students caught cheating.
