UPSC Civil Service (IAS) main exam result will be released in the last week of March. Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) released the notice mentioning that Civil Service (IAS) main result 2021 will be released in the last week of March and the interview process will begin in April. UPSC will release the Detail Application Form (DAF)-II soon after the result.

How to check UPSC Civil Service (IAS) main result 2022?

The candidates can check the UPSC IAS main result 2022 in the following manner.

  • Go to the official website - upsc.gov.in
  • UPSC main exam link will appear on the home screen, click on it
  • On clicking above, the result: UPSC Civil Service Main Exam link will appear
  •  Click on the link as appear above. The UPSC IAS main result will open
  • Search the roll number in the UPSC Result pdf
  • Download the UPSC IAS Prelims Result 2022 pdf for future reference.

UPSC conducted the Civil Service (IAS) main exam from January 7 to 16, 2022 as per the UPSC IAS main exam schedule. The main exam was conducted offline at the designated exam centres across the nation. UPSC will start conducting the Civil Service personality test (IAS interviews) from the first week of April 2022.

UPSC DAF-II is mandatory for the candidates passed the IAS main exam (written) exam. The DAF-II need to be filled and submitted within the stipulated time frame or else the candidature of the candidate stand cancelled.

Documents Required with UPSC DAF-II

In the notice, UPSC mentioned that candidates keep the following documents ready for submission, along with the DAF-II. The list of documents includes the self-attested copy of original certificates of

  • Matriculation/Higher Secondary/equivalent Certificate or any of the documents as per CSE-2021 Rules to support his/her name and date of birth.
  • Original Degree for Graduation or equivalent examination along with Mark-sheet in original issued by the University. Internship Completion Certificate for MBBS Degree or any other
  • Medical Degree.
  • Caste certificate in the prescribed format dated before March 24, 2022.
  • Certificate of disability in the prescribed format
  • Hailing from the certificate issued by the competent authority for the candidates belonging to the States of Arunachal Pradesh, Manipur, Meghalaya, Mizoram, Nagaland and Sikkim.
  • Ex-servicemen Certificate
  • Certificates to support higher education
  • Document (s) to support Extra-Curricular activities
  • Photo Identity Card as mentioned in the Detailed Application Form-I

The candidates need to carry the aforesaid certificates at the time of interview for verification purposes.
