UPSC EPFO Exam 2021 Postponed for EO/AO Posts, Details Here

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed UPSC EPFO exam that is scheduled on May 9, 2021 amid the surge of COVID-19 across the country. New dates will be announced later.

Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has postponed UPSC EPFO exam for Enforcement Officer (EO) and Accounts Officer (AO) posts, the exam is to be held on May 9, 2021.The decision has been taken keeping in mind the ongoing COVID-19 situation across the country.

UPSC EPFO new exam date will be announced later. Candidates are advised to keep track on the official website of UPSC, upsc.gov.in. UPSC EPFO admits card was released on April 16, 2021. UPSC will release the new admit card after the fresh date is announced.

UPSC released a notification saying, " Recruitment Test of the 421 Posts of Enforcement Officer - Accounts Officer, EPFO Exam, 2020, scheduled for 09^th May, 2021 is deferred till further notice. New date will be announced in due course."

Commission has been tracking the prevailing situation and they had a meeting on April 19. The commission on the exam postponement has said,  “The Commission considered rapidly changing circumstances, health considerations, lockdown restrictions including social distancing norms and aggravating situation enforced due to the pandemic. The Commission has decided that it will not be possible to conduct examinations and interviews for the present.”
