UPTET exam analysis 2021-22 is shared here for Paper 1 held on January 23, 2022, based on the student reaction. The overall exam was easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level.

Uttar Pradesh Exam Regulatory Authority (ERA) conducted the UPTET 2021 Paper 1 exam on January 23, 2022, in various examination centres of the state. The exam was conducted with proper precautionary measures against the COVID-19 pandemic. As per the candidates’ feedback, the overall difficulty level of the UPTET Paper 1 was easy to moderate. Candidates found the Child Development and Pedagogy section as the easiest among all five sections.

Candidates were able to attempt around 125 to 140 questions in the exam. Those who have prepared well for the exam using the previous years’ UPTET question papers could easily solve the question paper.

The UPTET question paper 2021-22 of Paper 1 comprised a total of 150 MCQs from five sections - Child Development and Pedagogy, Language-I, Language-II, Mathematics and Environmental Studies. Shiksha visited one of the UPTET exam centres in Noida to obtain the feedback of candidates who appeared for the exam. Have a look at the feedback and student reaction below:

Chandan said, “Paper 1 was of moderate difficulty level. Child Development and Pedagogy section comprised direct questions and questions based on Piaget, Kohlberg and Vygotsky theories. Mathematics and Hindi sections were easy. EVS and English language sections were moderate in terms of difficulty level.”

Deepal said, “Exam difficulty level was easy to moderate. The questions were based on the UPTET syllabus. The questions in Child Development and Pedagogy section were from Piaget and Kohlberg theories and were more practical and situation-based.”

Ankit said, “Mathematics section comprised questions from Time and Work, Gun, etc. EVS section was moderate. Sanskrit section comprised easy questions. The overall difficulty level was easy.”

Preeti said, “All the sections of the UPTET Paper 1 were easy to attempt and questions were based on the syllabus. EVS section comprised questions on Volcano, WWF, LPD, etc. Mathematics section comprised question on Time and Work, Number System, Simplification and Triangle.”

Yashwardhan said, “Exam was of moderate level. Almost all sections were easy to moderate in terms of difficulty level. Candidates who practised previous years’ question papers could easily attempt all 30 questions.”

Shweta said, “The paper was easy and all questions were from the UPTET syllabus. Mathematics was easy and English section was moderate.”

Simran said, “Paper was tough. English section comprised questions from Idioms and Phrases and complex sentences. The questions in the Mathematics section were on Mean, Median and Mode, Calendar, Reasoning. Child Development and Pedagogy was difficult.”
